Layla has spent four years on the Columbus High School Volleyball team as a defensive specialist demonstrating strong teamwork and leadership. She earned her Varsity letter while contributing to team success ascending to multiple regional championships and state championship appearances through consistent performance, commitment to training and a positive attitude.

Layla also played four years on the Varsity Lacrosse team for Columbus High School as well as the 706 LAX club team. She was the only freshman to make the 2023 Varsity team. Appearing in both mid-field and attack positions, she went on to earn the Offensive Player of the Year award in 2024 and led the team to multiple regional championships and state championship appearances while mentoring younger players.
